Haven't seen it. But it seems a bit too `up front.


By way of example, The Notebook is a potential candidate, however it will probably make you too sad to perform (whereas the girl will be just fine, of course).

I sort of agree, but the risk is that the girl will fall for Ben Stiller instead of yourself.

That's one more reason why Kikujiro is a good one, because Beat Takeshi is ugly as hell. Not that Ben Stiller is super attractive or anything, but chicks seem to dig him for whatever reason. Do you really want to compete with that?
