I agree. I can imagine both guys winning and losing in various ways. I can be very staunch on predictions, but I’m not on this one. Everyone who is sure of the outcome can beat heavy on it. All boxing fans enjoy being surprised, it’s what keeps us interested.

The first fight was a one sided beat down. Ruiz IS a much better boxer. Joshua only really has one chance - landing a bomb. It a pathetic narrative from Team Joshua - "Redemption" etc, he was never that good to begin with! People seem to forget that he won his IBF belt against Charles Martin and then beat a 40 year old Klit for the other straps. The whole Joshua backstory is total BS - he was never the humble boy from the street of London saved from a life of crime by boxing. He was in the right place and the right time, the rest was just clever PR and marketing. |

I’d like Joshua to win because it would set up a big fight with the Wilder vs Fury II winner, a fight that would generate a lot interest and sh/t talking among fans. It would be fun.
If Ruiz wins though, great for him. No one would be mad. It would set him up to get the winner of Wilder-Fury too and that too would be a good fight. But I think most of us want Wilder vs Joshua. What i’d hate to watch would be Fury vs Ruiz. Omg, Fury would stink up the place Image View Removed. Please Click Here. Any combination of Wilder/Joshua/Ruiz would be nice. I also think Joshua vs Fury wouldn’t be bad because like Wilder, Joshua would probably force the excitement. |

No, Joshua’s only chance as I see it, is to follow Parker’s example, if he can. The danger there is getting countered and hurt or simply getting too tired to stay out of harms way. Joshua doesn’t have Parker’s chin nor it seems ability to defend himself when tired. I’ve no doubt that the Judges will give Joshua every close round but he’s got to at least keep 7 rounds close. |
