    Obama is so desperate that he refused to meet with world leaders at the UN, because he would've had to introduce them to Mitt Romney and he wanted to avoid the photo Op potential.

    But despite who you may be backing, you have to admit Romney is about to get steamrolled in November.

      After the DNC Mike Dukakis was ahead by 17 points over Bush's (even less competent) father. He got steamrolled. Carter was comfortably ahead at this point over Reagan. I think anyone breaking out the champagne for Barry before the 1st debate needs their head examined.

        .
        He went to the same school as Romney....except that he got higher grades than Romney. And Barack Obama was so secretive about law reviews that his Harvard peers voted him President of the Law Review.

        Obama => MAGNA cum laude

        Romney => Cum laude.

        Facts are your friends.. don't be mad.

          Nobody is breaking out the champagne. Yet.

          But the fact that this exceptional business executive who is the scion of a wealthy business executive and politician happens to be struggling to compete with a Kenyan Socialist is effin' hilarious.

          But If Romney loses, you probably want to avoid this board on Nov 7.

            So, what you're stating is that the GOP's still got a few more tricks up their sleeves.

            Why is it, that the GOP always get concerned about Voter ID laws and similar pseudo concerns, prior to Presidential elections?

            "By hook or Crook" comes to mind whenever I think about the GOP. They obviously do not have a platform worth mentioning, because neither Romney nor Ryan has taken even a brief moment to discuss it.

            Is it a secret, is it classified ... what could possibly be the reason, for NOT laying out your detailed plan for the country, if elected??????

            Did I miss that informative speech or is it yet to come?

            I do not want to dismiss the possibility, that I may have just missed that speech .... so, would one of the GOP supporters, please point me to a detailed synopsis -- SERIOUSLY!!!!

              What J-squared failed to mention is:

              1) The DNC back then was held MUCH EARLIER. So there was waaaay more time to convince voters and change minds.

              The convention in 1988 was held in mid-July. We are now entering October.

              2) Dukakis was an unknown entity and more prone to wild swings. As compared to Barack Obama who is an incumbent, and people know him well.

              3) Polling, due to media penetration and computer models, has improved considerably than 25-30 years ago.

                • Mitt Romney is obviously smarter than Obama. Bilingual... speaking French. Does Obama speak any other language besides English? His private business experience. It's obvious to those of us with a trained eye that young Barack benefited from Affirmative Action a great deal... as well as Liberal preference up in Harvard. They wanted a black, exotic name to be president of the law review to calm the racial tensions at that time. He also knew that he couldn't hack it in the competitive private sector so he took his "talents" to politics from the get-go. As Jeffries said, he never released his records from Harvard. Why is that? If he had a 3.9 GPA you would think he would've released it by now.

                  Besides, just Obama's ideology alone confirms that he is not as smart as some think he is. He is a dumb persons idea of a genius. There is an old saying.....“If you’re not liberal when you’re 20, you have no heart. If you’re not conservative when you’re 40, you have no brain”. I'll just leave it at that.

The short clips I catch of Bill O'Reilly talking about nationalizing the oil companies or Juan Williams regurgitating White House talking points. It's doubtful that I'd watch FOX even if I had a TV.
                    Where and who do you get the majority of your political information from?
