They bailed out Goldman Sach's because Hank Paulson was treasury secretary.

Not because we couldn't do without Goldman Sach's.

      Repealing the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

also referred to as the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999, repealed part of Glass-Steagall, tearing down the walls between banking, insurance and investments. Companies could now merge, partner and operate freely within each other's industries. The act also made it possible for the financial industry to group mortgage and other portfolios, selling them as investments.

would be a damn good start.

Yeah it's kind of absurd that banks can basically do the equivalent of going to Vegas and putting it all on 00, time and time again, and when they lose get bailed out with our tax dollars. While refusing to loan to small businesses or give home improvement loans.

There are two local banks where I live and both refuse to give a fixed rate loan for more than 3 years. While one builds a new bank, in a small town, with lots of poverty and little industry.

All you Austrian crack whores claiming we need to cut spending are cutting your noses off to spite your dumb faces.

Grannies social security check and medicare being cut won't help a damn thing.

Derivatives debt is in the quadrillions.

That's more than the global gdp combined.

And you idiots are worried about "government waste"...

              People are asking for solutions?

What can "the little guy" do??

Take your money out of the big banks that make up the cartel aka BofA, Wells Fargo, Chase, etc...

And put it in those small local banks you speak of.

Why would you raise taxes more?

The people are taxed enough as it is. And that tax is gonna go to the banks anyway. Its just another veiled transfer of wealth.

Let the banks eat their own fraudulent debt.

They've stolen enough tax money already.

Crackwhore thinks cutting on some stuff will help pay back everything we owe...spoilers we got quadrillions of dollars we owe along with interests from other nations we owe money to.

Its mathematically impossible to pay all those numbers back we will always be in debt the best we can do its bring the amount down but that's not happening anytime soon.

The utter stupidity of crack whore's whole thread is that he's mocking "the establishment" with an article that starts out saying the cfr is nothing serious, only to go on and contradict itself later.

THEN, while making fun of it, he ends up agreeing with the austerity death merchants that THE PEOPLE HAVE TO REDUCE THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING.

I mean, its a contradiction wrapped in the hot aids infested fuck juice filled carcass of a true Austrian crack whore.

I don't blame him for losing his mind though, that's what being on the IGNORE list of THE PEOPLES POSTER tends to do to people.
