hopefully hbo recognizes female boxing. if they will proudly put on flyweight boxing (which is basically little people boxing) on their main events then they can put on female boxing too.

female boxers are sometimes far more talented and exciting than their male counterparts. pure skill and action power.
I agree, always been a causal fan of both women's MMA and boxing. The biggest problem seems to be the lack of quality opponents to keep the public's interest.

That and the fact women are faced with the unfair requirement of needing to be physically attractive to generate wide spread interest in their sport.

LOL, come on dawg. That's like saying someone is the smartest monkey on the planet. The concept of woman combat sports is a joke. Even the concept of most women sports is a joke. Just an inept copy of men.

Braekhus should try UFC. The invasion of female boxers will do wonders for the striking ability of most MMAers.

The best women are on the lower weight classes, girls like Ava Knight, Ibeth Zamora, Jackie Nava, this girls actually fight good opponents now and then.

Anyway who the hell made girls fight 2 minuntes? its completely stupid and pretty much ruins it.
Well Braekhus has cleaned out the entire division and unified all 4 WW straps and beat the Ann Sophie Mathis' & called out Holly Holm. She is head and shoulders above the competition in her division though. Nava with 4 losses and Knight just lost a couple fights ago. Nava is impressive though no doubt. None of the fighters you have named dominate but these smaller women do have skills and are able to have more rivalries. I like Farias as well. There is something about women's fighting that UFC was able to capitalize on and I think boxing is really missing out on.

Hell yeah I would watch but Saurland seems to recognize the commodity of women's boxing. Too bad America doesn't. There's plenty of decent looking women in boxing to put them on TV too.

She's awesome. Been following her for a long while now, ever since way back when The Ring (before the sold out) wrote a cool piece about her when she was still an amateur (or just turning pro can't remember). She'd whoop any female in the ring, without question. When it's all said & done, she'll probably go down as the one of the greatest female fighters of all time.
