Umm the only option he truly has is Jacobs and Charlo. He is at the mercy of Cotto, Alvarez, and Saunders.

Is it decline or just better quality of opponents? Sanchez says it's the latter.

Ggg better hook up with memo to make these cherry pickers think twice about calling him out.

        Wasn't the case with Pac-Bradley or Ward-Kovalev.

Have there been any examples where a rematch due to controversy was more lucrative than the first fight?

those were all close fight, not really bad decisions like Pacquiao vs Bradley

Canelo-Golovkin was a close fight with 1 bad card, not like Pacquiao-Bradley.

Interesting to see what happens here... If they decide to got the Cotto route, and then fight Canelo, they're not going to be able to unify the division, which what their goal was or they claimed it was. Because Derevyachenko is an IBF mandatory and they're going force the mandatory fight likely next year. Then Charlo is a WBC mandatory, although I don't think that matters that much because the WBC doesn't enforce mandatory like IBF.

But they've got a tough choice here. Do they go for the money fight with Cotto and risk losing one of the belts, Or do they got after Saunders and unify in December?

You're right, and at 35, it's a little of both.

Like when he sold 250 K PPV vs Liam Smith. They both have the same options. Canelo just makes more money on PPV because of the Mexican population in the US.

One would have to be naive to think that a rematch would happen this december. Canelo isnt fighting till next May and GG might not fight again this year either.

Im not looking forward to a rematch.
