Wanting your story told by your people because you know it'll be accurate is racism? She saw the way the media told her dad's story. She was also an aspiring writer and the only people to pay for her work were black publications and the Guardian (or maybe it was the Independent) but others always wanted an interview or free article.

You see, there are reasons behind this tweet. But you don't know them because you don't read the who she wants to tell her story.
