Took long enough to be happen but it feels nice to be an indipendent nation again and not a ***** for the EU parliament.

Time to shore up our trade partnerships and trade agreements with our typical allies, US, Australia etc

What's that now.. If Trump gets elected US goes into recession.. If Uk votes leave.. Uk will go into recession.. If UK ACTUALLY leaves it will fall of a cliff.. this is just in the past 4 years They said the same **** when politicians were pushing for the UK to drop the £ in favour of the Euro..

Rarely is it ever as bad as they try to make out they just want the general public scared and not to think for themselves
The UK has technically left, but the economic effects have yet to take effect because the can has been kicked down the road to the end of the year.

So basically the situation is that everything is the same as being in the EU, except the UK now has zero voice on EU proceedings.

First call of business for the UK: negotiate a trade deal with its number one trading partner. Which is the EU. Which will be worse than the existing deal.

            Going to be a winner!

The UK is a net importer of goods from the EU. The inevitable result no matter what deal is stuck is higher prices to be paid on imported items. Which means inflation for the UK.

Add that to a hit to GDP and you have a lower standard of living. But, hey, you get to control immigration... from the EU (the UK already had absolute final say on immigration from outside the EU).

The UK will be absoloutley fine mate, the standard of living has sucked for a decade now due to years of Austerity, (unnecessary austerity) so people are used to that.

Leaving the EU may raise prices of some things slightly but it won't be that dramatic and there's a million wastes of unnecessary money going on that the government need to be looking at. Whenever that say they are broke I lol because they never struggle to find a few billion for another war or to pay bankers bonuses do they.

The thing is the government is now going to be accountable for everything, can't blame it hide behind EU rules so it's all on them.

              Interesting times ahead.

Could go either way in the short term

But that’s the way of the world. I’m on the left but in the grand scheme of things. 46 years to be tied to unelected career politicians is a drop in the ocean in the history of this country.

                The world will keep turning.

No use fretting. We have nothing if not human capital. We’ll always be okay.

                Everyone knows that.

                  Right on.

I think left or right, devolving power into smaller areas is always a good thing.
