--- Michael Spinks scratched out the 48-0 clown trying to be wannabe Rocky.

Anyone ripping The Jinx gets on the fighting side of me...

There is no film of Hart. I generally don't rate any hwt champion prior to Johnson.

--- Plenty of film on JJ showing why he had a miserable time against guys Jeffries handled easily.

He mostly stank though putting up a stellar performance against Willard. True to his nature of stink, he managed to stink himself royally after the fact claiming he took a dive.

Your schtick has not changed since AOL. Johnson was rated as the best of all hwt champions for decades. Undefeated for ten years in an era where black men were hung as an afterthought.

--- The only guy who provided a ranking that I know of was nat fleischer back in the day.

Nat also protected johnson by buying his memoirs and then diapering them by not publishing them.

You can't deny JJ was in the same era as Jeffries, yet had much poorer results against common opposition, hence why Jeff was champ and JJ struggling to make a name after his setbacks and spectator adverse style.

--- Maybe you ought to check out the casualty rate for all men, women, and children in the era that preceded him.

You cry me a river types never had an original thought that amounted to squat. JJ was undefeated for 9 full years, from 1906-1914 for a 25-0-5, 12 KOs record, around 3 fights a year with a 40% Ko record against a whole lotta middleweights.

Yeah, plenty enough to make you moan, but in that time frame Langford and Jeannette compiled records better than his career record...only in Houdini world.

--- Marv whooped JJ in what would turn out to be a title eliminator for the retiring Jeffries.

                  Ya musta forgot!

You have not changed in the last 20 years. Still the same racist crap. Made up garbage. Fleischer was the historian of boxing from the teens to the early 70's. He rated Johnson as the best for 50 years. Charley Rose rated him # 2. Other historians who rate him highly are John Durant who considered Johnson the # 2 heavyweight of all time, Steve Farhood rated him # 3, while Tracy Callis rates him # 2. We have 100 years of HISTORY that shows how highly Johnson was rated. That history amassed by many over generations obviously cannot be changed. Jeffries himself stated that even in his prime he would not be able to beat Johnson.

                      --- Translation:

Marvin Whooped JJ when it counted most, thus ascending to #1 and you wrong again.

Sam Langford said he'd fight any heavy in the World when Jeff was prime. JJ turned down a $1000 cash offer to fight jeff in a locked basement or their bar where the winner came out with the money that jeff put up gratis and the key.

As mentioned before, yer bereft in context of understanding a beaten, past prime with 6 yrs Rust jeff trying to quell the violence breaking out that press across the US.
