I did some digging on the company, they do business in close to 10 towns and have a 24 hour hotline. Not exactly the hallmark of a local business, but the info I found has a lot of interesting dead ends. Very strange tbh.

Love Windows isn't in the Top 10 Window companies in the UK and the two other directors William Love and Suzanne Clements Love live in Yorkshire. All three directors were appointed on the same date of March 26, 2010.

I don't think you found the right company. The director is someone else and it was incorporated this year. Looking at the other company the director is linked to, Go Green Energy, it seems as though my initial assement was correct.

It might not work but providing he hasn't pumped 10s of millions into it it could be low risk, high reward. Beats spending millions on a tacky watch anyway.

I got to dig deeper. The company boasts 40 years in the business, but the current directors have only been involved for 8 years.

Companies House. There are two companies under the same name. One dissolved in 2014 and the other was incorporated in 2018.
