it doesnt necessarily have to be with bribes but im sure that does happen all the time. i think its more of an understood thing. you judges and refs are here for a reason and if you do what you are supposed to you will be back. if not.....back to the minor leagues. the choice is yours....i think its more of a self selecting system like politics that self selects for corrupt people

It's just a bit ridiculous to say it's GGGs fault if he doesnt knock Canelo out.. Canelo has never been stopped or even knocked down as far i can remember, in almost 50 professional fights. It would be another cheap shot to the sport when this fight is plagued by corruption and another terrible decision. When GGGs wins 7 rounds clearly he should get the decision (sadly he won't get it though and probably needs to win at least 9 rounds to get it).

The judges are paid by the promoter, not the athletic commision. It's up to promoters of both fighters to agree on who the judges are.

Unless k2 know every single judge and does background checks on them.... all they can do is not let some judge from Argentina that no one has heard of to sit ringside.
