Plus they hid the money transactions, so they getting fraud and wire fraud charges, probably tax evasion stuff.

Shyt is serious when Feds come to your door
Interesting. Still don't think the law should get involved in this. There are bigger more important problems in this world to deal with.

This dude has survived a lot of scandals at Louisville, but coming up in this investigation will probably be the nail in the coffin

It's all dirty. All of them.

This student-athlete shit is an absolute farce.

And this shit starts even before the collegiate level, in AAU.

You had a former NBA player in Chuck Person who made 10's of millions playing involved in this.

            Crazy.

              Just saw that..

Though they are saying it's just unpaid leave. With employment review at later date.

Heard the board asked AD to fire potion, and he refused so he is on paid leave now..

Either way pitino done for. No way he survives

More big coaches going down supposedly as guys that were arrested start ratting out cohorts.

              Shyt about to get ugly

Here is an article that has a lot of detailed info... this thing is gonna get messy. This could be a scandal on par with or even bigger than steroids in baseball.
And damn, why my man chuck person got to be caught up in all of this.. rifleman was my guy back in the day

But why is the FBI involved? I thought this was only an NCAA violation and not federal law.

This shouldn't be illegal anyway. NCAA makes billions while their athletes aren't allowed to make a penny. Doesn't make sense.
The FBI is responsible for investigating corrupt organizations but their attention only gets aroused over big money they might pilfer.

I dont have a problem with paying student athletes but there are big problems when scouts and money start exploiting kids; oh and scholarships based on who you know over what you know is part of the problem that actually starts at a very young age

If this nukes the NCAA in basketball & football I’d absolutely lose it. Here’s hoping, honestly.

In b4 U of A doin’ some QUICK work burning half the their records & firing the staff.

It needs a semi-pro league that doesn't involve representing the colleges. The NBA D-league needs to expand and kids after playing in high school go straight to there but the colleges will never allow that.
