World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will fight any of the best welterweight boxers the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) has to offer including a possible showdown with undefeated WBA super welterweight titleholder Keith Thurman Jr.
International matchmaker Sean Gibbons said they will start discussing the next possible fight this week. Pacquiao is still enjoying the moment after beating Adrien Broner via unanimous decision.
“The senator is looking at everyone right now, everybody is on the table. We’re just enjoying the victory week, and then next week we start looking slowly who is possibly out there,” Gibbons told The Manila Times.

“There is a lot of great fights to be made, but again the senator is making no decision right now. He is just sitting back and enjoying a little family time watching his son play basketball in Hong Kong. Next week is the week to look where everything is going.”
Gibbons said it wouldn’t be difficult for the boxing icon to negotiate and look for his next opponent since he is now working with the PBC own by Al Haymon, who promotes 99 percent of the best welterweight and junior welterweight fighters in the world.
“We fight and work with Al Haymon. And if the senator directs that he wants to fight Keith Thurman, if he wants to fight Danny Garcia or if he wants to fight any welterweights in the PBC, we will go to Mr. Al Haymon and work on putting a deal together,” said Gibbons.
Finest welterweight boxers like Thurman, Errol Spence, Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia, among others, are under the banner of Haymon’s PBC. Only World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Terence Crawford is under the Top Rank Promotion of Bob Arum.
“We made the Adrien Broner in just about 10 minutes, so we’ll make the next one nine minutes. There is nothing difficult when you work with Al Haymon. It is smooth sailing in life. He is the best guy you can work in the business.”
Just a few hours after his dominating majority decision win over Josesito Lopez on Sunday in Brooklyn, Thurman said he is ready to fight the eight-division world champion Pacquiao next.
And Gibbons understands why all fighters want a piece of the 40-year-old Pacquiao.
“They all want to hit the lottery, and they all want to fight Senator Manny Pacquiao because they know that it is the biggest payday they could achieve,” Gibbons added. “Everyone wants to fight the best fighter and the best fighter in the world is Senator Manny Pacquiao.”
