GDT has been a constant let down for me. I only have use for Pans. Mimic was so-so.

He can make a fantastic looking movie, no doubt.

Agree to disagree on his overall talent.

Shape of Water was on every top ten list & won all kinds of awards.

Hellboy movies & Blade II was cool. Pan was good. Pacific Rim was fun. Devil's Backbone was good.

I dig the first couple seasons of The Strain.

I've never seen Mimic can't comment on that.

I do agree he's a cat who goes an extra mile with making his films look a certain way, but that just adds points to him for me.
