English people don't like Argentinians that much.. due to robberies (maradona handball) and more importantly some of us have family who fought them in the Falklands war

For the record, I was moreso rooting for Nigeria than against Argentina. The Nigerian side won me over and I wanted to see them do well. I also like to see the big dogs go down in embarrassing fashion in general, just too hilarious, why I'll also be hoping South Korea can ruin **** for Ze Germans. Seeing powerhouse nations suffer is the only joy you get out of international soccer as an American
