  • south africas plan to seize white farm land labelled 'catastrophic'

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...astrophic.html

south african government to continue with plans to take away the white mans farmland without compensation, despite warnings of anarchy, economic unrest, soaring crime and food shortages.

There are also fears it may lead to zimbabwe v2.0, where forcible reclamation of white business led to economic collapse.

When you start seizing private property, and especially from producers, you are all but guaranteeing shortages.

This will be another real world example of policies not to enact.

now I dont know anything about Africa history or how all these white people got that land but BUT if the white people stole it from the black Africans back when they were in power and fastforward a few years and the blacks are now in power and want to do the same thing the white people did to them I see no issue, a war is not over just cause one side says it is.

Yep, if they take over it will be a third-world shythole in no time at all. Then they'll be wondering where to get food, medicine, clean water, and protection from the crime gangs that will run the nation into the ground.

Their economy relies heavily upon exports. They also rely on tourism money which will no doubt dry up when it is no longer safe to visit. Good luck.

I've spent some time in South Africa and Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe is a classic case of land redistribution gone wrong. Plenty of worthy black farmers who had knowledge and skills yet the land was given to that idiot Mugabe's cronies and family members so a lot of fertile land went to waste.

Zimbabwe is a naturally rich country like South Africa. They can do land re-distribution but the problem was always corruption, cronyism and nepotism.

Feel like Zimbabwe has a great chance to improve with Mugabe out.
