According to promoter Richard Schaefer of Ringstar Sports, an announcement is getting very close for the mandatory rematch between WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz and challenger Abner Mares. Mares is still a very good fighter, but do y'all remember back when he climbed as high as #4 on some P4P lists? And I'm not talking about b-scene fan lists, lol. I'm talking about legitimate P4P lists.

Donaire was pretty high on those P4P lists back then as well. He went up to 5th I think. I know he had a run but those were weird times
