Default I decided to try polyphasic sleeping

Supposedly many geniuses adopted this regimen to increase productivity, since 1/3 of our lives are spent sleeping.

Polyphasic sleeping is where instead of sleeping for one long block every 24 hour cycle, you basically take multiple power naps and your body supposedly adapts and transitions to this and enters rem sleep faster because you force it to.

The regimen I decided to try is a 30 minute nap every 6 hours for a total of 2 hours of sleep a day lol...

I'm starting off with one hour every 6 hours, and I'll cut more and more sleep until I hit my 2 hour of sleep a day goal.

I'll use this thread as my journal and i'll take questions if anyone is interested in trying polyphasic sleeping.

Btw i'm on day one and I'm just trying to stay awake and this is why I made this thread lol.

I already cleaned my room because of the extra time I have and I currently have nothing better to do at this particular moment.

I'm interested in seeing how well my body will adapt and if it affects my physical health in any way.

There'a supposedly a minimum week long transition period for your body to get use to the polyphasic schedule, so I'll find out if it gets easier then.

If you don't work in an office or are jobless you can try that sort of sht,
I stick to sleeping 6-7hrs a day and still feel I need more sometimes.

I waste a lot more time waking up/trying to fall asleep than I do actually sleeping... So taking a bunch of naps seems like a disaster.

Maybe if you're the type who just goes lights out as soon as you lay down it could work.
