I used to skip every time, but I wasn't too good at it.

Nothing.

If you want to condition for boxing, then box.

Simple as that.

You do your cardiovascular training with running. If you can't run (ie injury) then hop on a aerodyne bike, ski machine, or rowing machine. The thing with those 3, is that you have to go all out. It's the only way to build conditioning.

Otherwise run for your cardio and box. Don't skip your resistance training for your core either, doesn't have to be crunches, it can be planks and twists as well.
