Eddie Hearn then replied saying 'we project around$60m' (talking in $ terms so wilder understands the numbers).

The implication at that stage was that Wilder's side are creating fake numbers when there's no pressure on them to generate that money, the pressure is on AJ.
AJ then did that interview with ifl where he said 'they say it does $100m, give me $50m and ill take the fight'.

in the context aj was still obv referring to the proposed wembley fight and terms. it was the financial risk that was going to change.
Eg 'you give me $50m up front and you can take the rest' this puts wilder in a position of 'put your money where your mouth is' eg if it only generates $60m, then wilder only gets $10m.

You with me?
so when the offer came in, AJ/Hearn publicly declared they're interested and want to talk. Wilder's side refused to release the details because they altered everything, made it so it happens in the US, wouldnt reveal any info.
when aj realised they want it in the US under their own terms, he refused it.

Finkle had stated tehre was no rematch clause if AJ lost.

Anyone with common sense would turn it down. besides, aj said 'give me $50m and ill take the fight'
Wilder's argument was 'accept the offer on video...and then we'll show you the terms'
the problem here being that in NY law, a verbal agreement is legally binding.

So for anyone to bring up $50m knowing what they ought to know, they're either trolling or they're buffoons with zero intelligence and common sense.
No. Not at all.

And that has till date been the best offers he's ever had and possibly will ever have.
So you need to go re-examine your brain again.

Why would Joshua want the Wilder fight? It would destroy his career. Right now he needs to take a few easy fights and try not to get knocked out. He can pretend he wants the fight like Hearn but they know better,
