You are welcome, stay with the firearm you feel comfortable with wheather it's a 22, 9, 45 etc. All the TV BS, just be comfortable and trained with YOUR firearm. After all my years gunsmithing I have preconcieved notes for most all people depending on experience and use of the firearm. If it is a car/travel gun go with a nice 38+p/357. In awkward posistions like in a car a auto may not give you more than one shot due to recoil and limp wristing, a revolver will give you 5 or 6 for sure.
