If anything it hurts Floyd. Unless Manny somehow comes back on and wins some big fights coming up, the win over Manny won't be the same anymore.

I still say anyone who thinks the fight didn't happen only because of Floyd is just ignorant. Manny himself and Arum played key roles too. It's like none of them ever wanted it at the same time.

When the fight was on the table in March 2010, Manny walked away from it, and didn't agree to randomly test until Late 2011. When the fight was being proposed, Arum was talking about stadiums not being ready and Manny's cut holding it up, as well as the date of the fight. When Floyd got out of jail, rather calling Manny out once again and forcing the fight, he stayed silent until a week prior to this fight. And when the fight was on the table, Manny and Arum were saying 50-50 or no fight, but then say 55-45 is alright after they signed to fight Marquez.

It's like none of them ever wanted it at the same time. It's sad for boing that fight didn't happen.
