F***ing cnn and Fox News are on the trump Veto and haven’t heard anything else on this.
there were 4 arrested, 2 mosques and a school involved and at one time the hospital close to one of the mosque also apparantly had an incident...before i went to bed there were pictures of 2 other shooters at a location, apparantly the 4th person might be a female?

although now the reports are completely ignoring the 3 other people and only focusing on the Australian guy for some reason?

They are not yet certain about what happened. One problem with these horrendous events is, because the people who perpetrate them do not cooperate, and because we don't "waterboard" so to speak, there is a process of putting together the pieces and figuring things out.

      Time will tell.

Oh boy, this totally debunked malarkey again

I don't have any reason to think the shooter was motivated by his religion, at least so far but I haven't really read his manifesto.

He was a combination of brainwashed into thinking all Muslims are equally a threat to him. In his mind he had dehumanized them, categorized them in a separate bucket of beings who could be killed without feeling any type of remorse or sense of hesitation. Despite that he had no reason to believe that these people were ISIS sympathizers, violent, or doing anything to disturb the peace. He knew that it would get a lot of attention and eyes would gloss over his manifesto as a result. He knew that he would net some kind of infamy as well. These were his motivations.

You don't decide to walk up to completely unsuspecting, helpless people and mow them down because you've been playing Fortnite. Doesn't make any sense.

It's feels more similar to the kind of psychology in play when an ISIS member sets off a bomb on perfectly decent people who didn't wrong him in any way.

Depends on how people interpret it (religion)

Isil/Isis killed huge numbers of Muslims

This was going to happen sooner or later. People are going to start carrying out reprisals against Muslims in the name of western civilization.

'Many more would have died': Hero mosque worker grabs NZ attacker's gun

Witnesses described how a young mosque worker grabbed the attacker's gun and forced him to flee the scene.

People wait outside a mosque in central Christchurch, New Zealand
Witnesses described seeing a man tackle the gunman
An unidentified man wrestled a gun from the hands of the man involved in the terror attack in New Zealand and prevented further deaths, according to witnesses.

Hours after dozens of people were shot dead at two mosques in Christchurch, witnesses described how a young mosque worker risked his life as he tried to apprehend the gunman.

Survivor Syed Mazharuddin told the New Zealand Herald that he was praying with about 60 to 70 people at the Linwood mosque when he heard gunshots.

People began screaming and he "tried to take cover" as the attacker came through the entrance, he said.

"Just around the entrance door there were elderly people sitting there praying and he just started shooting at them."

Mr Mazharuddin said the gunman was wearing body armour and shooting indiscriminately.

"There was a lady screaming 'help, help' and he shot her point blank in the face," he said.

More from New Zealand Mosque Attacks

"At just that moment, there was one young guy who usually takes care of the mosque and helps with parking and other stuff, so (the man) saw an opportunity and he pounced over to him and grabbed his gun.

"The hero tried to chase and he couldn't find the trigger in the gun... he ran behind him but there were people waiting for him in the car and he fled."

Mass shootings in New Zealand: What we know so far

One man is charged with murder after police said there had been "multiple fatalities" at two mosques in Christchurch.

Mr Mazharuddin said one of his friends had died at the scene and another was bleeding heavily as he tried to contact emergency services.

A second witness, Faisal Sayed, also described seeing the mosque worker's heroic actions.

Mr Sayed, who has been living in New Zealand for over 10 years, told Indian broadcaster NDTV that he had witnessed the man "creep up behind the shooter and hold him until his gun dropped".

"If that hadn't happened, many more would have died and I wouldn't be here now," he said.

"Hats off to that man. I will definitely try and look him up."

He added that one of his friends had died of his injuries and another is still in hospital.

Why is the shooter's face blurred in all of the news reports?
