For starters, Andrew was a complete fighter with all the necessary physical tools in the ring. His great left jab (which earned him his Olympic Medal), right hand, combinations, rolling, and slipping were all there (inside and out). Golota would handle Wlad's jab with head movement and a great counter jab. He is more of a real fighter unlike the Klitschko brothers. If Andy started employing any of his roughhouse tactics, both Wlad and Vitali would freak and give up right then and there. The brothers were not born fighters. Golota was.

Andrew was very talented and always seemed to have very good vision and anticipation of what was thrown at him when he was at his best.

But the biggest disparity is that talent-wise, Riddick Bowe stands head and shoulders above both Klitschkos prime-for-prime. And look at what Golota did to a prime Bowe. So what does that tell you?

Golota would likely stop glass-jawed Wlad late while the Pole would stop Vitali on cuts. Either Klitschko vs. Golota would be very, very entertaining, however.
hes the hw version of zab and khan (only w/o any quality wins). so much talent but has NEVER proven it in the ring. you know, THE PLACE WHERE IT COUNTS. what he did vs bowe was the worst version of bowe. bowes own mother said he should hang it up because hes shot.

he had an above avg jab.

Golota quits sometime in the first half of the fight. The dude flaked out in every big fight he was in.

Bowe definitely had dieting issues, yes, and I agree that his body took quite some punishment before Golota got to him. But was it Golota's fault that Bowe was so badly out of shape? If it's not a rarity for prizefighters to be shot by 29, then let's list off some other names.

In the U.S. one does not need to follow boxing in an obsequious manner to know that fans in the States go easier on an American fighter. Since Bowe is American, though, fans will forgive his poor showings against Andrew Golota. If a foreign fighter looked as poor as Riddick did versus Andrew, then U.S. fans would completely bash the former. In a pure boxing sense, Bowe's poor preparation was no excuse. It speaks more about Andrew's skills and talent than it does about Riddick being faded. But the mentality in the U.S. is and always will be that Riddick made Andrew look better than he was. This is false because Golota displayed his talent in the ring numerous times (Grant, Corey Sanders, Byrd, Ruiz, etc.). Golota's psyche is a separate issue. Let's give credit where credit is due and acknowledge that Golota's two dominant performances against Bowe happened more thanks to the former's talent than the latter's athletic downfall.

I encourage you to rewatch both of Golota's fights with Bowe. I believe they prove Golota's jab was great.

I saw one Polish guy unfurilling a flag against Brewster and he couldn't even get the damn thing open by the time Golota was dropped!

Golota at his best would be the best guy on Wlads record outside Povetkin and Fury. And like Fury he would take Wlads offence out of the picture. Not 100% of his offence like Fury did , but close.
It must be remembered that Fury wasn't allowed to work on the inside out in Dusseldorf. Weeks rushed in and saved Wlad every time Fury tried to work out of the clinch and box. Fury was robbed of those close quarters exchanges yet he still won by a land slide decision.
Peter Fury said on Boxnation after the Jennings fight that WK would get stopped if he faces Fury next and he was right. Wlad would have been battered and stopped by Fury if he had that ref who was ordered to officiate the fight by the NYC athletic state commission.

Under fair rules Wlad isn't good enough to dominate a novice like Jennings. Let Golota fight by the rules and he gives Wlad enough angles , head movement , parrying , dodging and slipping shut to shut down his offence to get inside where he puts it on him like he put it on Bowe. And Wlad wont fight back like Bowe did and he won't hold up to the pressure like Bowe did. He'll hold and hold and eventually wilt under the pressure.
This is all dependant on Golota being focused and not being in Germany , which he wouldn't be as giving one guy an all the advantages isn't how these situations work.

people say wlad is chinny. how many times has golota been dropped and stopped ?!?!?

you say wlad has but 3 solid wins ( ), whos are golotas ?!?!!? please name just 1.

a fight is a fight. where it goes down is used as an excuse for when a cu/nt loses and their fans cry ''hometown decisions''.

                    golotas resume is a joke.

Pretty worthless to make an analysis based on a way past prime version of wlad.
