The Autobahn is the federal controlled-access highway system in Germany. German autobahns have no federally mandated speed limit; however, limits are enforced in areas that are urbanized, substandard, accident-prone, or under construction. On speed-unrestricted stretches, an advisory speed limit of 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph) applies. The road network has a total length of about 12,949 kilometres (8,046 mi) in 2015, which ranks it among the most dense and longest systems in the world.

I take the Autobahn everyday, it's cool and all but sometimes there are a lot if construction sites to maintain the road so that people can drive fast, so u can have a 30 KM stretch without a speed limit but then a 10 KM stretch where u have a limit of 80km/h.

When you see this sign on the autobahn, drive fast and keep an eye on your rear view mirror, cars will sneak up on you.
