The difference in strength is going to be a big factor. Porter is a very strong ww and Danny was more effective at 140.

I'm shocked Garcia is the favorite vs Porter. Yes I drove to Vegas last sunday and dropped $3300 on Porter at Westgate Casino at +140
Are you kidding me, Porter could have easily got the decision vs Thurman, and lost a close decision vs Brook
On the other hand we have Garcia who is clearly a small welterweight and got outworked and beat up in the later rounds Peterson, outworked by Herrera and beaten to a bloody pulp by a shot Zab Judah
Garcia had a few great knockouts vs 140lbers
Porter is a different animal. Porter will be way too busy, aggressive, quick and strong for Garcia
I see the fight being a boxing match for the first 3-4 with it being fairly close. Then Porter will start to maul him the rest of the fight similar to Berto and Broner
Sure Porter smothers his work and leads with his head sometimes so that sucks for Garcia lol, but it benefits Porter even more
Porter by stoppage or majority decision (theres always 1 corrupt judge)

Didn't Thurman and Porter come down to 147 while Danny was moving up to 140. These two guys were calling out Danny the moment he moved up to 147 but weren't in a hurry to call out and fight Spence or Bud. Garcia I believed has finally grown into a 147 fighter and will surprise Porter on fight night. Danny drops Porter and goes on to win a clear decision. Porter is way over rated. What are his best career wins? Alexander and Broner? He's been at 147 since 2010 and hasn't accomplished much but beat lower tier fighters.

Danny's best name is Lucas Matthysse, whether he qualifies as a "true" welter, whatever that means to you, can be debated. I don't put as much stock in weight personally and I box.
Danny has always been a one dimensional hype job, Lucas wins that fight 9/10 times, I'll also have money on Porter. He's a flawed fighter as well but Danny, much like Canelo, is one dimensional, ordinary, and worse than their records indicate.

You're obviously an amateur with handicapping.
What do you mean are you kidding me? The money lines are razor close you dumb cùnt. +145/-165 is even money in Boxing. This aint MLB sonny. If Garcia was -400 and up, then you might have some legs to stand on. But it's about to close to even money without it literally being even.
Porter by stoppage? I don't believe for a second you got 3k+ on Porter. Show us your stub.

i can tell you the pros put a lot of stock in weight. thats why guys like floyd would only fight canelo at 152 and not 154 even though both were 154 pound champs. thats only 2 pounds now imagine 7
