      • Mexico played a bit safe.

They need to start taking advantage of the americans and play them like they are superior, which to me they are. But because the US is the US, teams that are close to their level tend to be afraid of them.

If Honduras can score 2 goals on the US, why cant Mexico at home? Yet against Honduras, Mexico scores easily. Thats because against Honduras, Mexico plays like its superior, and against USA it plays as if its playing Argentina.

Not that simple, the U.S came out with the intention of tying. They played further and further back as the game went on and hustled on defense. They weren't looking to score ever and understood getting a tie in Azteca is as good as a win considering the standings.

Mexico's problem, and this won't be popular, is that Chicharito is not as good as people think. He's a great player when surrounded with great players but alone, he can't create. Mexico is missing that element to their team. Also, their mid field is not as good as it once was.

Props to the U.S for playing such good defense.

you're right though, Chicharito is overhyped a bit.

            • chepo was afraid to lose, he new the u.s was there to get a tie, and was not even counter attacking that much, he should change to a more offensive team.
like taking a out a "contencion" like salcido and putting another forward, like jimenes, reina came out too late he should be their at the beginning of the second half.

dos santo necesita hecharse el equipo al hombro y jugar con mas huevos,y darle buenos pases al chicharo. plus we need it vela for this match.

at least mexico didnt play like **** like they did againts jamaica,

by the way huracan doesnt know **** about futbol

maybe he is not, but is the best we got, he is better than, peralta, jimenes, bravo, denigris, sabath, marques.

he need to get out of manchester U, so he can play every week.

You wouldn't have said that if Mexico would have given up a goal on a corner or a counter attack of the U.S. See it's easy to sit there and say after the fact that Mexico wasn't aggressive enough but I thought they just couldn't finish. They had their chances.

He's not getting out of Manchester, that's where he gets paid...lol

I know he's the best we got and I'm not saying he's a bad player but he's not the great player most think he is. He's great when playing alongside great players who can create and get him the ball, he looks great at ManU. Alone though, with lesser talent, he's not that good.

Mexico is missing a player that isn't even on the roster. Someone who is a threat individually, someone preferably with size.

If he continues to score goals like he has and SAF still keeps him on the bench he'll leave.
