What it takes to beat Lebron

What it takes to beat MJ

Jordan and the Bulls were the Warriors of the 90's. that's why they were never underdogs in any finals series. while LeBron and his teams have been underdogs multiple times. also MJ had the luxury of having the greatest perimeter defender in history on his team (Pippen) who was also maybe GOAT at the point-forward position. that'll be the modern equivalent of LeBron always having Kawhi Leonard on his team since thats the closest comparison to Pippen.

and then Jordan benefited from GOAT coaches from college to the pros. Lebron's coaches have all been trash with exception of Spoelstra who was good but not great.

these things gave MJ the luxury and cushion he always played with. MJ NEVER dragged an underachieving team to the finals. Ever.

Jordan is still the goat but it largely depends on how you look at it. What I don’t get is how people think their gap between is significantly big.

You gotta factor their competition in the finals. The teams that Bron faced in the finals are all better than Mj’s opponents numbers wise. The only team you have a case against was Dirk’s mavs.

Bron was underdog in 6 out of 9 outings in the finals.

Do I think MJ would excel in this era? Yes. Do I think Bron could win 6 titles as well if he played with Mj’s team in that era? Yes as well.

1 on 1 MJ beats Bron, better overall player it is Bron.

Scoring, defense, being clutch goes to jordan
Passing, rebounding, versatility in any position goes to lebron

Let’s just wait til Bron is done to ultimately decide who’s who.

The warriors have 5 all stars starting, nobody on that team can be double teamed.

Jordan Had Pippen and rodman. How is that in any way compareable.

Shawn Kemp, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajawun, Karl Malone and John Stockton all had their shot against MJ and lost.

                There is no "discussion".

Jordan will always be the better player.

We can only argue facts and we can't argue unknowns.

The fact is that, when it mattered, in the championship rounds Jordan has never once choked.

Lol olajawun didn’t meet jordan in the finals.

Who did reggie have? Jordan’s team is loaded af with the goat coach what do you expect?
Even when retired they were like 5 wins less and still made in to the conference finals lol
Bulls front office was exceptional back then.

There’s a reason Bron’s always the underdog in the finals.
