Golovkin landed 116 power shots - that's hardly a jab show. Canelo took a lot of punishment (as did GGG).

I don’t think there’s anything bad to say about either fighter tonight.

Canelo went at him and mounted vicious body attack and dictated early to early mid part of fight and then when it seemed tht it was just a matter of time, Trip G reversed it, showed heart and turned the tide of fight.

Both these guys showed great heart and great chins and fight could’ve gone either way, even a draw again, and would’ve been fair decision.

How did Golovkin fight like a coward...he always stood in the pocket and landed more punches?!

And how many did canelo land more or less? And what did GGG face look like. Canelo backed the hype job fake Mexican style up all night long and dished out more punishment and sent little GGG running to the showers without respecting fans and media. Even his own trainer told him he was losing deep in the fight. Can't scream Mexican style and get outlanded back to back fights in power shots and have almost no body shots because you scared to get countered. Mexican style ain't "nothing but jab style".

People give Canelo too much credit for the body shots. Compared to the jabs that he was taking, he only landed a few and despite what so many people say, he didn't "back up" Golovkin. Unlike what Canelo did in the first fight, not once did Golovkin back up against the ropes or even looked like he was running. He continued to land numerous jabs and uppercuts while all Canelo could do was just walk forward and settle for a few shots at a time. Sure, Canelo did better than in the first fight but not enough for any honest person to say he beat Golovkin. It was a robbery, plain and simple.

7 rounds isn't that deep. floyds trainer thought he was losing after 10 rounds against pac. that is deep, but let me guess he was just kidding and abel was serious? the amazing flip flop gold medal goes to you sir!

He let Canelo land more of the power punches and the best punches in the fight.
