The wall was pretty far down the list of reasons I voted Trump.

That, and I believe I read illegal crossings are down something like 70% anyway.

I'm not a fan of it, but sometimes you gotta negotiate.

Reagan gave amnesty as part of a deal with Congressional Democrats to beef up the border. Reagan kept his end, and did the amnesty. The Democrats never followed through and beefed up the border, and here we are back facing the same issue decades later.

Hopefully Trump learned from Reagan's mistake and doesn't trust the Democrats and makes a deal they can't renege on.
