Yes, if you are a hardcore fan then it is worth it. If you are a casual? Then you probably will just want to buy for selected months and then cancel.

I'm not just one into the "big names" fighting and that alone being worth it. I want good fights period. DAZN is giving us WBSS which has been nice and they gave us SSR/Estrada card which was top notch. Oh yeah, Canelo vs Jacobs on paper was a very solid match up. The GGG card looks trash, but I like the Joshua/Ruiz fight. The rest of the card lacks but I'm fine with that.

Depends.

If you are a hardcore boxing fan it for sure is. They show waaaaay more fights per event then anyone has ever showed. They got the 3 of the biggest names in the game. Some solid mid-level guys. And they seem to have a solid base of prospects, from pro debut guys to Devin Haney, who you'll be able to watch grow over the next several years. Some from debut to title shot I'd imagine.

If you are a casual fan it may or may not be worth it. Depends on how casual you are & how things line up through out the year. Like if you are only into Canelo or only into The Big Fights I think you can just plan to pay for it in those months where you wanna see what you wanna see. As long as you only pay for 4 months you save money.

If you are a more serious casual fan who wants to see Canelo, GGG & Joshua fight virtually anyone or who appreciates certain mid-level competitive fights you are probably better off just getting the $100/year deal cuz just on the potential calender for there big 3 if we assume 2 fights a year each you'd be overpaying.

TLDR: Hardcores, yes, casuals, nah, hardcasuals, probably.

I spent $20 for the Canelo fight. I'll get the Joshua fight. They have absolutely nothing on the schedule that I'd spend money on the next two months. When they announce the WBSS finals I'll spend another $20. If Canelo fights GGG again I'll pass. If he fights Callum Smith I'll pass. That's not a PPV fight and that's not worth $20 either when I coulda got it on HBO for $10. I'll spend a total of $40 this year.

DAZN will grow deeper with more saturated and strategic scheduling. We’ve already seen this.

Many DAZN Canelo Jacobs buyers bought at $100. We know this from their report of $48 million from subs on Canelo Jacobs alone. Therefore Canelo buyers are good until May 5, 2020. Cinco de Mayo fight falls on May 2nd 2020 for Canelo.

These same buyers will renew.

Regarding GGG Canelo Trilogy. You say you might not buy it but that depends what other fights would interest you 29 days before or after. DAZN knows this and calibrates probability for temptation.
Good to see you’re turning around because at the end of the day boxing fans like saturation of options. Your LDBC PBC shilling got boring mate. I still enjoy PBC fights, but I enjoy more when guys like you plotted against DAZN like dorks!!

WAR DAZN

I like DAZN. You get boxing almost every week. In addition, my cost is only $10 per month.

However, outside of the Canelo and Joshua fights; The WBSS cards are the best thing going for the DAZN's boxing content. The Matchroom and Golden Boy cards largely suck.

I will concede that on occasion they do put on some good action packed bouts from time to time. Overall, it's a good investment for the price of $10; Because I signed up early to their Online sports video media streaming service.
