And no, Barr’s summary was not wrong. Mueller decided he could not come to a conclusion, that means he had no evidence to pursue indictments, meaning there was NO collusion in the sense of the law, beyond a reasonable doubt. Mueller was supposed to state the same as a prosecutor, but he came to unconclusive, which is horsecrap.

Ahead of the news? The same news that were claiming Trump was a russian agent and that he colluded with Russia to gwt elected? Those spewing lies about Trump for over the last two years?

Now they want to attack Barr on wordplay? For coming to the conclusion that Mueller should have come to as a prosecutor?

Really?

With what Mueller found or did not find, Trump is indeed exonerated. Mueller had to either come to that conclusion, or indict.

Mueller wanted to play a political game. He failed. You’re either guilty or innocent. Mueller had no proof of guilt, and yet refused to claim innocence.

Democrats are grabbing at straws. Anything to keep this circus going.

What the hell is their actual plan for the american people?
Mueller acted professionally and far from politically. He did not want to play the political game at all and went to great lengths to avoid it.

To claim Mueller wanted to play the political game is incorrect. If he wanted to play the political game you would have seen him holding multiple press conferences and releasing numerous public statements over the past few years. He has not done so and has kept quiet precisely because he wants to avoid the political game.

Barr is playing the political game which is precisely why the democrats are so angry. Mueller wisely stayed out of all that garbage.

If Mueller did not want to play the political game, he should have exonerated Trump as any prosecutor would when there is no evidence. Yet he did the exact opposite.

He said instead that he could not reach a conclusion, yet had no evidence to prosecute or indict further.

Barr is not playing any game. He summarized the findings of the report into exactly what it is. No collusion, no obstruction. MSNBC mischaracterized Mueller’s letter to Barr, and the media is now playing the political democrats along with Congress democrats who are turning all this into a circus. Much ado about absolutely nothing. Mueller is done investigating. After 2 years he found NOTHING. That’s it. Democrats and the media are still trying to milk that cow beyond dry instead of admitting they were completely wrong. They’re trying to find some technicalities and pointless BS.

Default Do people even understand the issue with this situation?

lets be objective here: I want people to really appreciate wht happened with this investigation because when all the hoophula stops this is a very easy situation to judge.

Mueller was a prosecutor. Prosecutors are ruthless when they are hired by the government. They will ruin people's lives to get at their target if it is necessary. They are not about fairness, or justice they are about the law and results.

Mueller did everything he could to indict the president. He even stated that he was not put off of an indictment because of presidential powers, his words.

Mueller then goes to his boss and punts. He tells Barr that he did not prosecute and for Barr to make a further decision.

Barr looks at the report and notices something: "Gee there is a time in the proceedings when it is fairly obvious that Trump will not be prosecuted for the underlying charge of "spying with the Russians" (call it what you want, it was not obstruction at that point).

Barr further notices that despite this fact, the investigation continues. The investigation now morphs into an obstruction case. In other words, it is the General Sherman strategy, after you take the city, burn it down for good measure.

Barr believes like most would, that this is a deviation from the original intent of the report. But now Barr has to present this report and justify it.

Mueller never really objects to what Barr does, IF you read what Mueller actually says which is: "The letter from the AG does not address the full scope of conclusions reached by this investigation."

So why does Mueller first punt to the AG and then make this statement? I DON'T KNOW and neither do you... Trust me. It has to do with hitting the other team. The set up was to not declare Trump exxonerated which Mueller could have done. Mueller even did so much.

BUT IT DOES NOT MATTER because guess what? a Prosecutor only determines whether there is a case or not. So WHO CARES WHAT MUELLER THINKS?

The press does and Mueller keeps the hit parade going, perhaps putting Barr in the cross hairs.

Barr redacted the report, so what? the report is out there. Barr's opinions mean very little... Either the president will, or will not, be charged.

It is obvious that our Congress has become compromised. They are so hell bent on destroying this president that they are going after anyone who will not join their cause.

Nothing Barr, or Mueller says should matter. there is a report, there is a decision not to prosecute. THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

Barr did not show up for the hearing because he had no reason to show up. Anymore than people who were destroyed by McCarthy's sick group of destroyers, the house of unamerican activities. Congress is attempting to threaten and destroy anyone who does not try to destroy the president.

Why can't people see this? Since when does a prosecutors opinion, feelings, decision matter? If people don't like Barr's redaction, then read the original.

Do you know what a government prosecutor does? Some prosecutorial departments are actually there to compromise...like in rent courts, etc.... BUT a government prosecutor is a hit man. He wants a prosecution at all costs. We tolerate this in society under the assumption that a vigorous prosecution and defense will determine a proper outcome. Its wrong in many ways...but I digest, I mean digress.

I don't know what Mueller aspired to, neither do you, neither does anyone on this board. All Mueller had to do was say "no case." You simply must understand that! Imagine if you will, going to the doctor with a female friend and asking the doctor if she is pregnant and the doctor saying, almost! Let me have the Nurse elaborate.

YOU are EITHER pregnant, or not...You are either GUILTY of a possible crime, or NOT. What we do know is Mueller had no reason to do anything but make a statement as to the charges...Just like the doctor all he had to do was say Yes, or no! For whatever reason MUeller did something different.

And if you do not think that was political think again! Why should Mueller care what Trump says? Does a professional hitman care if he misses a target, the hit is called off and the target talks smack? Would the hit man then say "ah hell no! I don't even want the 40k I am going to do this one for free!" Think about that for a minute. Why would Mueller waste a moment caring about what conclusions were highlighted? All he had to do was say "no case" remember? So this is political and Mueller does have someone shaking him...That much is clear.

We don't know why but we do know what he did was strange and if you really listen to what he said, not what the media says he said... there are clues. For example, Barr and Mueller simply feel as though the letter written to summarize did not do so adequately. Mueller never said barr was wrong, misguided, etc. And Barr simply said that the response was abrasive. Thats it....

Mueller never said Barr lied, or changed anything. Its a witch hunt pure and simple. People like Kamela Harris have an IQ of 68 on a good day, she rose to her position on her back.

Oh so Mueller is prosecuting Trump for obstruction and the AG did not tell the public!? You do know that Mueller said that:

a) He was not prosecuting the president
b) His decision had nothing to do with indicting a standing president.

Why should anyone even care what barr says? You must be low IQ my friend because you are not understanding how off base it is for Mueller, a quiet, determined prosecutor, to want to drag out and legitimize any report...
there is a reason he punted and he knew what Barr would do, let that sink in. All Mueller had to do was characterize the investigation and say no case... Think about that.

When it's clear that Barr has lied to cover up for trump, Mueller has to speak up.

Barr has said he based his decision on the evidence presented, while contradicting himself afterwards by saying that he didn't look into the evidence presented.

Mueller never had to let Barr into the equation. The report speaks for itself and Mueller's team wrote it.

Barr was set up...given a large pile of crap and asked to bare responsibility for it. Mueller never had to write anything after he made his determination on the charge of spying. Period. The rest was a fishing expedition. to obstruct something must be obstruct-ed. If there was no collusion then why bring up the obstruction?

Trump just today spoke out against censorship. Obama put more whistle blowers in jail than any president. Think about it. Trump is being protected over this and thankfully. We talk about presidential power and overstep...what about when congress oversteps? Remember Mccarthy? He had people jumping off of buildings, who were innocent. Congress is part of this corrupt government as much as the president.

Trump may not act, or speak presidentially but he is actually being very effective. Guess you would rather have Hillary in office right? who actually sold Uranium to the Russians, had lecture fees in excess of 150k a piece from the Russians, and perjured herself.... Commie locked up Stewart for half of the perjury Clinton committed. look it up.

Barr accepted the job for a reason. He was chosen for a reason.

Mueller provided the ammo, Barr never loaded the gun, his job was to obfuscate the situation and make sure trump looked exonerated without looking into the evidence in the report
