Joshua now is like a smarter version of Foreman.

He really needs the big fights. People need to understand just how good this guy is. Still relatively young too. He could attain legendary status... just make the fights!

Foreman and Ali were both 6' 3" Foreman weighed 220 and Ali weighed 216 for the rumble in the jungle.

Usyk has identical stats to Ali - 6" 3" 78" reach. He fights around 210/215 after making 200. So he is around the same size as prime Ali and Foreman.

It's going to be interesting seeing how a good "golden age" size HW does against the present day giants when Usyk moves up.

AJ is a lot bigger than prime Foreman. 3 inches taller, over 30lbs heavier.

This is something that people tend to forget when looking at film of 70s/80s HWs and and comparing them to todays guys. The 70s guys were significantly smaller, so obviously, they were faster and more mobile.

You are getting carried away with how good Foreman was. He was very good but he had flaws and he lost fights in his prime and in his 2nd older career. He lost to Jimmy Young and Ali in his prime. He was never the full champion at 50. He was getting killed when he KOed Moorer and Moorer was not that good. Prime Foreman was among the best but he would not easily beat everybody.

Prime George takes out Joshua, i'm a Joshua fan but prime George is far better than anyone AJ has fought. George has also fought a lot of heavy punchers (he has a good chin and likely hits harder than Joshua)

Crazy how fans revision everything. Ha

My father was at the table a few years back reminiscing on how big George was so big next to his opponent and was shocked when I told him heavyweights are usually over 6'3 now .

Yeah Usyk a heavy frame. I told many that he was going to ease blast thru Bellew.
