  • Hearn and Whyte reminds me of King defending Tyson for the ear bite

When Mike Tyson bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear and was disqualified, Don King was interviewed by Jim Gray after the fight. King, of course, tried to make everything seem normal.

Even though everyone just watched one of the most shocking fouls in the history of the sport, King defended Tyson.

King said Holyfield should have been docked a point for head butting and that he didn’t have enough facts to condemn Tyson for the ear bite. He also didn’t have enough facts to support Mills Lane in his decision to disqualify Tyson.

So to review, we all saw Tyson bite off a piece of Holyfield’s ear and spit it on the canvas. Don King tried to make the issue about Holyfield being dirty and said he needed more facts. The piece of ear on the canvas wasn’t enough for him.

Eddie Hearn tries to make Dillian Whyte’s failed drug test about all the other drug tests he’s passed throughout his life. Even though he failed a drug test and we all know, Hearn says we need more facts.

Whyte’s failed drug test is like Holyfield’s ear on the canvas. The difference is Whyte has an entire country behind him for some reason while Tyson had the world against him for good reason.

Terrible comparison with a fantasy land view on who is backing him so you can go "look at the big bad foreigners"... grow up.

You could see the ear you can't see the failed tests and everyone is still waiting on further information from the unvalidated although increasely likely leaked information.

Who's the entire country, BJS? The few UK posters on here that are defending him are saying we don't know the crime yet not the PED use.

Not an entirely off comparison. Eddie will twist the truth above & beyond anyone in the game except probably King in his prime. King never took so many repeated L's like Eddie is currently with his US run doe so I kinda feel he's getting desperate to protect guys who are worth a damn that are with him. Whyte getting suspended for 2 years or some sh^t hurts Matchroom a lot.

I mean anyone who's neutral in this can see the lack of anything real bring said by Eddie or Whyte suggests there is massively sketchy sh^t going on here that is more likely suggesting guilt over innocence.

Its not as if Tyson had always fought clean, he could have just as easily headbutted back or hit low. Biting the ear was his way out.

Look at the foul fest that was the 2nd Razor Ruddock fight. Its rich how Tyson tries to come across as the victim in the documentary Unleashed. Likewise I see a similar thing here, the offender playing the role of victim and the sky sports media machine supporting that narrative.

LMAO I can't even lie this is a great troll thread.

Very reachy but definitely on point in principle terms. I get what you're saying.
