We've seen people die in the ring, or Worse like Ali & Magomed who've come out severely debilitated. No one wants to see their hero's go out like that, hopefully not even the haters.

Let's not forget the ones who've passed or severely injured far too young outside of it like Williams & Corrales.

Those are by far the worst ending of any boxer's career.

Aw man, Corrales dying is one of the greatest tragedies in the history of sports, man.

Lennox Lewis .

Dominated the 90's then went out on a contraversial fight he won on a technicallity .

Not big deal unless the guy you beat doesn't become a dominant force himself and you promise the fans a rematch and your own trainer pleads that you need it to cement your legacy .

This fight really hurt Lewis more then help him .

A elite HW champion just shouldnt go out like that .

Ali , Tyson , Bowe , Ruddock , Morrison , all had worse endings physically but Lewis tarnished his own career with that move bc he also tried getting other fights after he defeated Vitali a guy who was never close to losing barring injury .
