hearn turned the fight down, and burnett had no interest in fighting him, hence why he was nowhere to be seen when tete fought in his home town a couple weeks ago.

The fact that this is already decided and stamped shows they were going down this route anyway. I'm not saying he didn't want Burnett, but they are all in the same Business. His camp knew it wasn't gonna happen, they still made out like they were trying to get it. They weren't as they knew Hearn would shut it down because in general a fighters team don't let them fight hard fights back to back. I dunno it just lessens Tete in my eyes. He is great. He needs better promotion. He also doesn't need to make stupid tweets. Shock horror of me wanting to like BOTH of them and see them have good careers and us all see good fights.

The World Boxing Organization has announced that a planned purse bid has been canceled for the ordered fight between WBO bantamweight champion Zolani Tete and mandatory challenger Omar Narvaez. According to the WBO, the fight will take place on a date in February in the UK. Narvaez (47-2-2, 25 KOs), a former two division champion at flyweight and super flyweight, became the mandatory challenger in October when the 42 year old veteran beat up and stopped favored and undefeated Nikolai Potapov in seven rounds.
