Nearly every dude I know who cuts their own hair does a mediocre job at best. I used to fuck my shit up all the time. I thought it looked good but, in reality, it was all fucked up.

Once I found a barber who cut my hair really well, I started getting compliments from people -- men and women. I wasn't getting compliments before. That was an indication to me that I wasn't doing a good job cutting my own hair.

Damn, you're balling out on yourself, big dog. How often do you get your haircuts? I get mine every 2-3 weeks. My haircut costs $13 and I usually tip $5. Last time I only tipped a dollar though. I think I pissed my barber off.

I keep my hair really short, seemed like a waste to spend money on something I could learn to do so I've been cutting my own hair for probably 12years, it helps to have a tri-fold mirror to help get the back straight !

Yeah a Lil John song. I run that trimmer all over my head going the lowest it can go and it looks decent too because I always ask people how much they think I paid for my cut and they usually quote the going rate at barber shops. So, I guess they believed I got it done at a barber shop.
