You think Japan's senior citizens are just going to disappear lol?

Let's say 500,000 factory workers retire, and there are only 200,000 new applicants, What happens to the factory. There are systems already in place and when you have more people retiring than are being replaced that system is going to collapse.

What happens when Japan has 20 million Senior Citizens and half that many youth to take care of them?

What happens is simple, 500,000 factory workers aren't all going to retire at once, so once the factory sees that it is losing more folks than it can hire one of two things will happen, they will raise their wages to attract more workers, (which is a great thing) or they will slowly but surely move their factory offshore to China, Vietnam, or Mexico where there is a readily available work force, like any other corporation would do. Or three, they will start developing and relying more on automated machines.

Declining population in Japan where there are already 120 million folks with little livable land is not the most terrible thing for them.

There's a reason why the low fertility rate is considered a major crisis in the Japanese government.

I learned this in a demography course that was a pre-req for my major.

For a country to maintain stability, they have to have a birthrate of at least 2.1. That means each couple should have at least 2 children(the .1 is to account for mortalities) for the country to be stable. 1 to replace the mother and one to replace the father. Japan's birthrate is only 1.4

There's a pyramid effect with age groups where the youth holds up the aging. When there are more aging people then there youth to replace them, what you get is an unstable upside down pyramid.

If it was, the Japanese goverment would have flooded their country with third world immigrants by now but they haven't.

The western liberal propagandists are the ones who consider it a "major crisis" because they can't stand to allow a successful ****genous nation to remain that way.

lol yeah I love this. Fear mongering at its finest. They try to make you think that BOOM, one day the transition happens at once. It couldn't possibly be a gradual process that takes many years which allows a nation time to adapt with a long term solution, instead of going for a short term suicide like Germany.

You're not seeing the effects now because it's a generational issue. When there are more aging people than there are youth and the youth aren't copulating , the country will eventually collapse under its weight.

In 20-50 years, Japan is going to be in a terrible state.

That's why immigration is a great solution. Unless you're a racist there is no difference between an African factory worker and a Japanese factory worker. America is a nation of immigrants and is currently the richest most powerful country in the world.

Even if that is true which it isn't, not even close, then it's not a "major crisis in Japanese goverment" like you said is it? All you have here is your liberal predictions. I prefer to look at facts which is Japan doesn't feel they're in trouble because they're not bowing down to immigration floods like most of the first world.

Actually if they resist the destructive leftist westerner's enforcement they will be in great state. In fact they'll still be fully Japanese with their culture, norms and values intact while the west with their balls cut off will be scratching their heads as more and more of their country is taken over by the usual suspects.

Yup, knew it was coming. Refuse the mass immigration? Wacist!

They took civilized, adaptable immigrants from some of the most successful countries in the world, that's why it worked. taking third world savages with no skill and ability to adapt to your culture will never work.

                  Here's Japan's current age Structure.

Notice how it's a steady decline starting from the 40-44 age group, every generation, Japan will experience a severe population drop like it has been experiencing so far.

Less children being born, that create even less children, in 2-3 generations Japan's population will plummet while still needing to sustain their aging population and current industries.

Japan has always been a xenophobic culture. There is no way in the world they would ever take in Muslim refugees...most Muslim countries won't even take them in.

And a relief to the over population of Japan would be a good thing. It's roughly the size of Finland with a population roughly double that of the UK. Tokyo and Osaka's population alone equal the population of the UK.

1-Japan is an intelligent and adaptable nation. 2-Again, these changes will be gradual, not sudden. Enough time to adapt. 3-The methods to deal with this have already been mentioned in this thread. It is not only feasible for them but a good thing as well since that tiny Island is overpopulated as it is.

The goverment seems to agree with me, not you. No liberal panick riddled suicide like Germany in sight. Just business as usual while being prepared for the future.

No "OMFG THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO OPEN THE GATES AND THE FLOOD FROM THE 3RD WORLD BEGIN!".
