Proby always had major drug problems but they haven't released the cause of death. Yes, he played for the Wings and Hawks. One of the greatest brawlers in hockey history and one of my personal favs.

He mainly played for the Wings but towards the end he played a bit for the Hawks. He is always a Red Wing in my book though.

Probert for sure. That second video posted shows them duking it out, Probert won. TBH, Probert rarely lost or turtled. He is up there with McSorely as one of the best.

Well at least he got to witness the Hawks breaking the drought. I remember him from the '02 season when we went to the playoffs.
