Forgot to factor in Loma's hand though - Loma's got his hand in a cast and won't be good to go till September earliest. So either Commey waits till Sept, or takes a soft mandatory in July and schedules Loma after that.

Needless to say Teo isn't a soft mandatory, so likely Commey would wait it out till Loma's hand better (they said its not as bad as originally feared, so shouldn't be long).

Designating Teo vs Tatli as an eliminator for the IBF mandatory slot shortchanges the one person above Teo in the IBF rankings, Nakatani, but as Nakatani has the 'who dat?' factor, and one wonders how on earth he got to that ranking, I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

Going to be interesting how Commey reacts to all this - I suspect he'll ditch his idea of the tune-up and go straight to Loma, leaving the bobfather to wrangle something on the WBC side.

The reporter´s name is Ernesto he has a You Tube Channel in Spanish and I think he annoyed Teofimo in an interview some time ago....and yes, Teofimo represents Latinos and tries to speak Spanish to Spanish-speaking reporters but remember you don´t have speak Spanish if you´re a Latino fom the US but still can be proud of your roots which Teofimo is....

Lopez should fight Commey next and the winner gets Loma in September. Commey is unknown at this point but looks like the dude can crack on paper. Would be interesting how good Lopez’s chin is once he gets hit flush by the IBF champ.
