Apparently so. Especially given the fact that "Golovkin" calling "Alvarez" into the ring and saying he would fight him right now, then waiting almost 2 weeks (thus making almost a month since "Alvarez" fight) is a major reason that "Alvarez" ended up fighting A (singular) welterweight.

There are very few who defend canelo for the blatant duck. I can tell you who the majority are right now.

The Floyd fans, they're content with the fact that Floyd beat canelo. They're used to the duck and retreat move already, Floyd fans after all. They know the method well. So since Floyd beat canelo, they don't want GGG to beat the better, unstarved version. They feel it will take away from Floyd's win.

Then there are the countryman fans. The blind Mexican fanboys who will support their star countryman no matter how blatant the duck. These are not to be confused with the educated Mexican fanbase who know that the duck is a duck.

Then there is the business experts. Who made a habbit of defending the business side of the sport. Who don't mind dishing out money to watch ppv mismatches. The usual (Floyd/Pacman/canelo fanbase). They're so used to the rapement actually enjoy it..

Lots of posters on here irrationally hate Golovkin for whatever reason. So even if canelo is the one to blame they will spin it anyway they have to in order to fit their agenda. Even if canelo came out and said he is a pu$$y they would still find a way to praise him and blame GGG.
