6'9, 250+lbs with uncharacteristically slick movement, technical ability and ring IQ for a man of his size. Hes also very durable and gritty.

His SIZE has a lot to do with it. He's tall, long arms, heavy.

He has the skills to back that up, but that's an advantage he has over his opponents.

Heís has almost perfect balance to spring into range and step out of range at any moment.

If you canít see that, you have a lot learn about boxing.

He beat Klitschko almost entirely with footwork just by offsetting him with his feet.

Also he has a very good jab. He probably has the most varied jab in heavyweight division today. he can use it as a strong jab, a rangefinder and even flicking jabs just to move fighters in to hi path. and also he changes the levels with the jab a lot, which are the heavyweights donít do today. You will often see him bring it from the waist or conventional way and you he can change a jab into a hook at the last second.

His ring IQ is top notch too.
Good post. I can't believe people can't see Fury's footwork and distance control, and how he is always ready to move back if the opponent throws a bomb, and either slip it or take the sting out of it.

Just watch ANY Fury fight and watch his lead foot. He always keeps it in the correct position, outside of his opponents and circling. It's probably top 5 in the world, in all weight classes, but unique as the ony heavyweight capable of doing it.

Even Pacquaio probably thinks his footwork is amazing.

Itís because people think good footwork is being a dancer but they donít see intelligent footwork, foot placement, balance etc.

But youíre right, they box from pretty much when they can walk so, thatís why people like Saunders and Fury could be very difficult to beat and it looks very natural to them.

You're right..... it's not just about getting on your toes and circling your opponent.

Watch the Wilder 2 fight...... he applies pressure but is always ready to move backwards if Wilder throws a bomb.

Beautiful footwork in the first two rounds.
