I don't speak Spanish but Mexicans are not the reason I want to leave. Hell, I teach in the public school system in Vegas and 75% of my kids are Mexican. I miss the change of seasons and want to be closer to family. My parents are up there in age and I want to be there for them. I'm a Navy vet and appreciate your son's service.

Appreciate the kind words. I had teachers in my youth whom I will never forget. About the salary...it depends where you are. I make 73k a year for working 184 days. Not bad. And in two years when I qualify for full retirement my pension will start at 55k a year with cost of living adjustments. But I'm too young to retire so I will get another teaching job back east and with salary and pension be making around 120-130k per year for working 9 months a year. I can't complain.

I'm a bit miffed at your post. Are you telling me to stop posting stupid crap or the guy on youtube? BTW: When I was in Japan I spent a few nights in Sasebo--a nice, quiet, out of the way town. But I really want to see Kyoto and Tokyo.
