Your certain fan group would probably if scrutinized equate to a very small number of posters, its called the personal red flag syndrome, you have it real bad.

yes a small number of posters that always post here and criticized knockouts and power punchers in the past. what are you referring to? now they are hyping up knockouts over complete bums as if thats something to be hyped up when in the past they called top 5 fighters bums. but a ko win over allen and cojanu proves something...hmmm.

just pointing out how they change their opinions depending on who they like and they shouldn't be taken seriously cause if you wait long enough they will be on the opposite side again. you could take posts of theirs from years ago and they can just debate themselves.

Allen took the Whyte fight on 3 weeks notice as well, the difference is Ortiz completely outclassed him while Whyte looked very poor.

Watching the 2 boxers fight there is a clear gap in skill and power, in fact you can also refer to other performances.

Same with Ortiz's performance vs Malik Scott and Dereck Chisora's.

Ortiz's performance vs Thompson compared to Pulev-Takam.

        Ortiz's performance vs Wlad's & Perez's vs Jennings.
This is the number one bs fallacy. Dillian Whyte picked Dave Allen to get some rounds under his belt and trying new things with a new coach. You can clearly see in that fight that he was boxing instead of fighting, whereas Ortiz picked Allen to look great against, same with Malik Scott.

And he failed miserably twice. Any indication that either the Scott fight or the Allen fight made Ortiz look anything but absolutely boring is pure horsecrap.

There's a reason he was ditched by Matchroom and it's because he came, was cornfed two bums to look great against and ended up stinking the joint out twice.

Especially the Malik Scott fight was horrendous. This is a guy that was KOd by Chisora ffs. And Wilder in a single round.

If Ortiz was as good as Wilder fans think, he should have dealt with Scott in a few rounds but didn't.

So Ortiz is better than Pulev or Takam Two completely average heavyweights who also just like Ortiz never beat anyone particularly good. Great stuff.

Implying that Ortiz is anywhere near the level of Wladimir Klitschko is completely hilarious. There's too many factors to mention, but Bryant Jennings shouldn't be a measuring stick for anyone.

But he's the best win Ortiz has on his resume.

if the evidence is there for all to see and it cannot be disputed, what is the point of this thread?

Whyte hired Banks a year before the Allen fight. Ortiz not only out boxed him, he stopped him, Whyte couldn't do the same.

Whyte couldn't even out box Chisora, 2 judges had it 115-114 for Whyte the other 115-114 Chisora.

Pulev & Kabayel literally performed better than Whyte did against Chisora.

Chisora never KO'd Scott, Scott beat the 10 count and the UK ref stopped it at 9. Scott was leading on all 3 judges cards 48-47.

            http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...ik-scott-stand

Scott threw 254 punches in 6 rounds vs Chisora leading on all the cards
Against Ortiz Scott threw just 155 over 12 rounds not winning a single round

Jennings has a win over a former top 10 HW in Perez, dominated undefeated Szpilka & out performed Pulev, Pedvetkin, Haye, etc. against Wlad. Ortiz ended him in 6 when Wlad couldn't drop him once.

Ortiz looked like dog**** in that Allen fight lol

Tony Yoka ****ing Destroyed David Allen...Beat that dude up and stopped him bad in only his fourth fight. Its way more impressive than what ortiz did. So i guess Tony Yoka >>> Luis Ortiz according to your logic eh ?
