Also in the NFL at least 100 guys make over 1 million dollars a year while in boxing only like 15 boxers make over 1 million dollars a year.
Most NFL players have a 3 years career span, 6 at best. They also play about 16x a year, while these boxers just get in 2x a year.
A good part of being a boxer, you get your own schedules... Sort of.
The best part of being a boxer, you can fight in January for $1m then fight in June for $5m and December for $20m. Your stock can grow over night while the big checks come in almost immediately.

2018 NFL rookie Saquan Barkley will make 7 million dollars per year in the next 4 years not counting sponserships. While guys like Loma & Crawford barley make 1-2 million a year in their prime of their careers.

That shouldn't surprise anyone really. Boxing is it's own worst enemy most of the time. In terms of it's organisation and professionalism it's amateur hour compared to big sports like the NFL and Association Football. Even Tennis is far more professional.
In the early part of the last century most sports like athletics, tennis, soccer, NFL, basketball etc were like boxing now, very amateurish, unstructured, no unions for players, no governing body with any real control over the whole of the sport, you had different associations all looking out for themselves like boxing now.
But those sports woke up and organised. Athletics turned professional as did tennis, they created a structured sport to help grow it's popularity. The Olympics is huge for athletics and they have the diamond league as well, while boxing is probably going to get kicked out of the Olympics. Tennis has grandslams and a lucrative tour. Soccer has the world cup and champions league as well as lucrative national leagues, NFL and the superbowl and the playoffs.
The NFL generated $13.16 billion in 2016, Soccer in the same year just in Europe generated 24.6 billion Euros. How much did boxing generate? Nobody knows because it's too disorganised and disjointed for anyone to be able to compile an accurate figure.
