  • Why do fighters with power get hyped up without proving themselves?

Posters on here hype up Kovalev and GGG and were hyping up Mattysee and none of these 3 have done anything to deserve the hype... mattysee is the only one to step up to world class comp and got his ass kicked in from over over 2 million people and you still have people making excuses for him....GGG and Kovalev have not beaten anyone close to elite and GGG even refusesd a Ward, Lara fight but chose to fight Chavez jr?? really and this is ok?? But when elite fighters fight other champions it is somehow called a cherrypick? even if they move up and fight other champions?? this forum is confusing and ridiculous.

Why do boring ass pillow fisted fighters who would rather sleep and hold their opponent than beat them down get hyped?

excites people. Thats all it is. Just like a big titty or booty girl get people acting crazy. Its just in the blood to get excited about something like that

              Hey genius:

Stevenson would have been a great test for Kovalev, since you consider him to be "elite". But you know, he be a slick binnis bruva doe.

GGG has had trouble getting fights. He could have fought Martinez by now, but with the injuries and opting to take fights against Cotto and others, it hasn't happened. Your hero Quillin has more or less admitted to crapping his pants at the thought of fighting GGG. It also wouldn't be smart for GGG to take on the best fighter at 168 being he hasn't fought there yet, and Chavez Jr. is a bigger threat than people realize because of the huge size advantage.

I'd say Campillo and Cleverly were both world class or atleast Top fighters at LHW when Kovalev beat them.

But I will agree as a fan I've not been happy with his recent opposition I.e His last two fights.

People dig knockouts it is that simple, it is the way it has been and the way it will always be. Plus knockouts are easy to understand, anyone can watch someone starching guys and get what that guy is essentially about (even if they don't exactly understand what the guy is doing and why he is doing it).
