End of the day this is Canelos what?? 8 PPV fight at only 27 years old. He's already been in around 6 Million PPV Buys...

Floyd didnt even have his 1st PPV fight until he was 28 years old. 27 years old Floyd was fighting DeMarcus Chop Chop. Canelo was fighting GGG.

So far Canelo is doing WAY better than Floyd was at that age.

I don't know what you are trying to say but if you think Canelo has room to grow PPV or draw wise you're mistaken. He's at the peak of his career. GGG is the biggest fight he could have made been a 3 year wait and only did 1.3m. Even Oscar knows Floyd's career is a once in a lifetime career and didn't even take off until he was 30 years old. I highly doubt Canelo will be fighting past his early 30's and doesn't even speak English that matters no matter what they say Mayweather McGregor showed people still love build up and trash talking. Canelos career draw wise is more comparable to Mike Tyson, Floyd is on a totally different level never took 1 L and he literally worth almost a Billion dollars Canelo probably hasn't even seen 65 million yet even though he's 27 his career still has a trajectory and it's not on the upswing after GGG I'd bet the rematch does less than 1.3m and once Canelo reaches 30 boxing will have others stars on the come up.

That fight was years ago and Canelo has had an impressive run since then. Also, GGG is seen as one of the most fearsome guys in boxing. You put a big name in with a dangerous opponent and you get a lot of eyes watching your fight.

other star come ups that canelo can fight uses as apponents. Canelo is the fighter everyone wants to fight because of the money.... at 27 that's big

Canelo does not really have any competition with ppv. So it is really not that impressive. Mayweather dwarfs anything canelo will ever do.
Plus the general public was turned off my canelo's performance against ggg and the decision overall. Oscar is very out of touch with the general public. And having the genral publics attentio is how mcgregor and mayweather made so much money.
Does canelo have a future opponent other than ggg that will help him beat his most current ppv buy rate?

If Canelo wants to be a huge draw he needs to learn english, talk trash, learn to market himself. Because Oscar is too obsessed with Floyd to promote Canelo properly. I just don't see current Canelo ever having the celebrity crowds like Oscar, Floyd, Tyson, etc... Maybe the stars will pay big bucks for mega fights but Canelo is not gonna do big numbers fighting Leminux or Jacobs.

Also, with the new T-Mobile arena being vastly larger than the old MGM Grand these numbers aren't as impressive as they seem.

I think everyone agreed before the fight it was a win-win for him. If he won he would be the guy to dethrone Mayweather. If he lost he could say he wasn't ready.

At least 3 boxers arguable had better events than he did. One fought a MMA fighter and one of the other fought a school teacher. Canelo is a big draw but I don't see him getting any bigger because of the questionable decisions involved with his fights. And he still seem reluctant to get better speaking english

I was at T Mobile Arena for the fight and I was surprised the mostly Canelo crowd booed him that loudly.

Im not a FLoyd fan but Don't compare resumes at that age when it comes to Floyd. It's just laughable. Floyd earned his PPV status just like Manny did. Canelo felt entitled and was handed his status. He had his chance to take from Floyd and failed. Only reason he has the Mexican dates is because Floyd retired.
