Unless you started really late, you can't be prime at 35. In any sport.
Baseball, Basketball, football, hockey, at 35 you're on your way out. Boxing is no different.
If this was the WWE, you can be prime at 45. Unfortunately the punches are real, they do hurt, and it takes it's toll on you no matter your defense.
