I don't have a problem with one wt fighters if the division is stacked. But when you don't have any threats in your division I don't understand why you wouldn't move up to challenge yourself.
Brook moved up to fight GGG to try to do the unthinkable.
Amir Khan did the same thing, they both lost but at least they gave it a shot.
Loma moved up to beat Linares.
Those are people trying to separate themselves from other champions and so called P4P fightersLast edited by BDG; 05-26-2018, 04:04 PM.

Explain how GGG is pricing him self out?!
canelo is a ppv fighter, ggg is not, canelo can keep selling ppvs for another 10 yrs, ggg not many more...
canelo can fight th vanes of the world on ppv, ggg cant make much out of his mandatories..

Mayweather went up in weight when he was 28. What fighters were there at SMW compared to MW 8 years ago?
Jack started at 175.
Already discussed Toney and Hopkins.
Leonard moved up in weight after a 3 year delay.
Again, not every fighter NEEDS to make the jump.
Gennady Golovkin won his Olympic silver at middleweight (165lbs) at the age of 22, having competed at that top amateur level and at that weight since he was 20.
The man's been at the exact same weight for basically 16 years, including the stretch through the early to mid 20s where most normal folks physically fill out, and yet that's supposed to be seen as normal?
