Trout won't get that chance.

What event in what game do you remember Banks for? Right. None.

The post season matters.
It won't kill his legacy, that's what I'm saying. Making the postseason or even winning 1 world series ring will only enhance it, but it won't kill it, like you've said he will still be a future HOFer.

In baseball you need a good starting 5 pitching staff, position players to get hits, a good bullpen, and the right decisions by the manager with regards to who will be pitching, hitting in the lineup, etc. It takes a lot of factors to win in baseball, much like football. Playoff success like the Yankees and Pats are the exceptions, not the rule.

That's why baseball fans and sports fans that understand the game in general don't blame Trout for the Angels' lack of postseason success, too many factors in it.
